Description(17) Hindu temple Chola dynasty Brihadishwara Periya Kovil Brihadeeswara RajaRajeswara Rajarajeswaram Tanjore Mahabalipuram India March 2014.jpg |
Brihadeeswarar - a Hindu temple at Thanjavur in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, is dedicated to Shiva. It is also known as Periya Kovil, Brihadeeswara Temple, RajaRajeswara Temple and Rajarajeswaram. The temple is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the "Great Living Chola Temples". Built in the 10th century.
