中文（臺灣）：照片中的建築物為玉泉寺和碧雲塔，其位於現今之玉里鎮的榮民醫院之後方的山腳處，同時也在玉里神社之附近。最初的玉泉寺此地原本在日治時期是作為陸軍之用地，而後在阿漢居士之發願之下與當時的玉里庄長松尾溫爾等人之幫助下，才終於在1930年（昭年5年）時動土開始了寺廟的興建，且於1933年（昭和7年）時便完工。而對於其「玉泉寺」之名從何而來有兩種說法，一種是說因其寺廟旁有清泉湧出故取此名，另一說法則為因其後方之一口井中的水質甘甜鮮美而取此名。至今廟中還留有日治時所遺之石碑，上頭寫著：「玉泉池」。而碧雲塔則為納骨之用，照片中塔後方的便是玉泉寺。此影像收錄於《顧我洄瀾：花蓮歷史影像集》一書，為葉柏強先生撰寫、花蓮縣文化局於2016年（民國105年）出版。書中記錄了花蓮近百年的城市樣貌，是一本擁有豐富文史與圖像資料的書籍。 |
