中文(繁體):泰雅族紋面刺針與敲槌,新北市八里區頂罟里(小八里坌庄十三行)
English: Traditional tattooing tools included needle, mallet, pigment container, blood scraper. The needle was either a single needle or row of needles. In the past, the needle was often made of thorn; animal bone were also used in Oceania. Pigments were made from the ash of tree bark or fruit.
