中文（臺灣）：本文以橋頭地區的閩南式建築為探討核心，從建築風格的特色、建材與文化等多元角度，實際觀察當地諸多的閩南式建築。
本文共分3部分，一為橋頭地區的形成與閩南式建築的由來，簡述當地發展歷史與族群構成，居民以漳泉兩地的漢人群體為主；二為閩南式建築的特點，以民宅為例，論述該建築的特性，從空間觀念的運用，包含了風水方位，以坐北朝南為主，達到冬暖夏涼的作用。在合院的設計，分為三合院與四合院，具實用且具凝聚家族向心力的優點。堂號的命名為精神象徵，表現對原鄉懷念。建築語彙，內容詳盡，包含閩南式建築的構成要素（臺基、屋身、屋頂）、裝飾（木雕、石雕、磚雕、剪粘、彩繪、泥塑等）、避邪（照壁、白虎鏡、八卦、桃符）、建材（磚、瓦、石、木、土）；三為建築實例簡介，羅列出當地各村落的名門望族所建蓋的大厝，表現出經濟能力與社會地位的象徵，如中崎黃宅、仕隆許厝、五里林楊家、橋仔頭林姓宗祠與頂鹽田李宅，皆為典型的臺灣傳統閩南式建築。 綜言上述，透過閩南式建築的文化與組成要素的了解，觀察橋頭鄉當地的閩式古蹟，使我們更能重視區域建築與人文發展的連結性。 |
