中文（臺灣）：座落高雄市西南濱海的柴山，也是高雄市臨海的天然屏障，它是蓬萊期造山運動時由海中珊瑚礁岩隆起的山脈，亦是海底上升為陸地的證據。因表面受劇烈的海水侵蝕作用，隨處可見嶙峋銳利的礁岩、峽谷、斷崖、穴洞等地形，是地質研究者最佳的野外教室。 |
