中文（臺灣）：林百貨面街部分均為大面開窗，可以觀覽街景，轉角處則輔以圓形窗戶作為變化，由於林百貨是當時該區域最高的建物之一，五樓作為餐廳使用，面向運河及安平海邊的西側則開了大八角窗，方便鳥瞰落日遠景，時為1930年代文人雅士最具風韻的場景，文學家葉石濤筆下也書有此景。
