Description
中文（臺灣）：本登山步道乃英國領事館約於光緒5年（1879年）所修築的階梯古道，主要是為了連通英國領事館與山丘上的領事官邸，並且可通抵哨船頭海濱。古道總長約200公尺，以花崗石、咾咕石、紅磚等鋪設，相當古樸。古道兩旁自然生態豐富，路線透過精心規劃，環境十分清幽。整體而言，古道以及週邊環境體現近代洋人在打狗生活的空間規劃，同時也是近代打狗開港重要的空間紀錄。
English: This hiking trail is connects the former British Consulate’s Residence on the hill to the former British Consulate on the coast and has been part of the economic development since the opening of the Kaohsiung Harbor. Its construction is evidence of the adaptive measures that must have been taken in order to negotiate the restriction posed by the terrain.it is worth being carefully preserved.
