中文（臺灣）：台灣清代時期較著名的龍山寺共有五座，由北至南依序為咸豐8 年（1858 年）年的淡水龍山寺、乾隆3 年（1738 年）年的萬華龍山寺、乾隆41 年（1776 年）年的鹿港龍山寺、雍正年間的台南龍山寺及乾隆年間的鳳山龍山寺，這其中以鹿港龍山寺規模最大，為台灣少數具有高度藝術價值的傳統寺廟建築，有「台灣紫禁城」與「台灣藝術殿堂」之稱。
