中文（臺灣）：大榮製鋼股份有限公司由嘉義人李天生（1906年［明治39年］-1984年［民國73年］）於1953年（民國42年）7月創辦，是台灣鋼鐵業的先驅，其採取勞資合營方式，因此產品貨量日漸提高。大榮製鋼在1960年代是全台四大鋼鐵公司之一（另三家是唐榮、台灣伸鐵、台灣煉鐵），其下設有四個軋鋼工場，鍊鋼、鍊鐵、木螺絲、洋釘、製鍋、翻砂、氧氣、煉焦等工場各一所，八噸煉鋼爐兩座，三噸煉鋼爐一座，以及變電所、化驗室等設備；大榮集團橫跨鑄造、重工、製鋼、教育各領域，版圖以高雄（鼓山三路2號）為中心，遠伸至印尼和馬來西亞，其中在吉隆坡設立的煉鋼廠，還是馬來西亞第一家；1964年（民國53年）年創辦的大榮高工（現為大榮高中），則是他培養基礎工業人才的學府。大榮集團員工最多時將近2,000人，1981年（民國70年）僅大榮製鋼（集團母體）的營業收入，就高達15億元。 |
