中文（繁體）：在1933年，嘉義火車站曾被譽為全島第一摩登的鋼筋混凝土造火車站，是個融合台洋風格的古蹟建築。挑高環樑與高窗透光的建築設計，打造出寬廣明亮的車站大廳，但在隨著使用時間的累積，車站建築的美感與火車站服務性下降許多，因此透過微改造計畫，將車站過往較為繁複的物件拆除，進行整理與更新，並結合完善的車站服務，使民眾更加方便。 |
