| Description |
中文（臺灣）：清中葉道光年間，郊商顏謙源祖先於暗街仔建宅，以壓艙酒甕加以利用，築成甕牆。該家族早年經營碾米廠、油車、糖廊，曾捐贈朝天宮廟埕牆壁上四海龍王之一。明治38年(1905年)嘉南大地震後，顏謙源修築宅第時，僅保留此甕牆，至今已逾百餘年，乃北港唯一僅存甕牆。
國民政府來台後，雲林縣議員顏木杞將此處宅第賣給雲林稅捐處，由稅捐處改建成員工宿舍。 甕牆於民國88年九二一大地震無毀損，於一個月後的嘉義大地震崩落，倒塌約1/3，甕牆基座仍完好無缺，後由列冊保存技術保存者許哲彥老師與北港合和會共同修復，募得多個同時期、同大小酒甕，以原磚、原處、原工法於民國89年修建完成。
