| Description |
中文（臺灣）：原脩次郎為1896年（明治29年）來臺的日本人，曾在公家單位任職，也是一位舉足輕重的企業家。他曾在賀田組任職，以及於花蓮港電氣株式會社擔任社長，隨後在1931年（昭和6年）回到日本，擔任內閣拓務大臣。原脩次郎可說是在花蓮任官的人士當中，曾任職的位階最高的一位官員，對花蓮亦有豐富貢獻，於是後人為了紀念原脩次郎，曾在花崗山上建起銅像。然而，原脩次郎的銅像於戰後被拆除，並建立起臺灣光復紀念碑。昔日銅像建立於1930年代，位置位在今日花崗山老人會館前的廣場附近，如今也只剩下花崗石製成的散落的基座與石塊，以及石塊上些許的文字記載。此影像收錄於《顧我洄瀾：花蓮歷史影像集》一書，為葉柏強先生撰寫、花蓮縣文化局於2016年（民國105年）出版。書中記錄了花蓮近百年的城市樣貌，是一本擁有豐富文史與圖像資料的書籍。 |
