| Description |
中文（臺灣）：創辦於昭和四年的北港第一淨水廠，也就是俗稱的「水道頭」，至今有八十幾年的歷史。水廠基地面積1.28公頃，水塔高二十多公尺，蓄水量440公噸，供水人口達九千六百四十六戶。當年興建費用為廿四萬日圓，從昭和四年三月二十三日開工，到昭和五年五月三十日完工，北港自來水廠由當時的街長蘇顯藜所建，朝天宮資助經費。日文叫「水道」的自來水廠，在當時有最進步、最完善的設計，它引北港溪流水源，經沉澱、過濾、消毒後，以幫浦打上水塔，後送至每一住家，被稱為「水道水」。
