English: Common name: Day jasmine Botanical name: Cestrum diurnum
Fruits are poisonous; affect nervous system to humans. Blooms are mildly fragrant during the day and the fragrance intensifies in the late evening and after dark. Oil prepared from plant exhibits antimicrobial activity. Shot at Pallikkaranai (Chennai , Tamilnadu , India) ; 12.9348° N, 80.2108° E; 5m above sea level.

தமிழ் : நாள் மல்லிகை. கறுப்பு நிறப் பழம் நச்சுத் தன்மை கொண்டது ; பூ பகலில் பூத்து இரவில் நன்கு மணக்கும் ; இத் தாவரத்து எண்ணெய் கிருமிகளைக் கொல்லும்.
