Українська: Одним з найвизначніших сучасних дослідників української народної культури, фольклору та фольклористики українців в Словаччині є Микола Мушинка, який відроджує українські традиції, підносить імена українських учених, письменників, художників, політиків. Він очолює Асоціацію україністів Словаччини, яку було засновано з його ініціативи в Пряшеві, є головою Наукового товариства ім. Шевченка в Словаччині, іноземним академіком НАН України.
М. Мушинка все життя займався збиранням і вивченням фольклору та народної культури українців Східної Словаччини. Сьогодні він проживає на сході країни, на Пряшівщині, де мешкає значна українська діаспора. Фотографія зроблена мною у квітні 2015, у його робочому кабінеті на другому поверсі будинку, в якому він мешкає разом зі своєю дружиною Магдою. У своєму кабінеті М. Мушинка проводить майже весь час, працюючи над статтями, книгами та іншими науковими роботами. Наступного року ученому виповниться 80 років. Не дивлячись на свій вік, учений сповнений сил та енергії, без нього не обійдеться ні одне свято українців-русинів, він є почесним гостем на усіх культурно-освітніх заходах, які проводять українська діаспора. English: One of the most prominent nowadays researchers of Ukrainian folk culture, folklore and folklore studies of Ukrainian Diaspora in Slovakia is Mykola Mushynka, which revives the Ukrainian tradition, presents the names of Ukrainian scientists, writers, artists and politicians. He heads the Association of Ukrainians in Slovakia, which was established on his initiative in Presov, is head of the Shevchenko Scientific Society in Slovakia, foreign academician of NAS of Ukraine. M. Mushinka all life engaged in collecting and studying folklore and national culture of Ukrainians in Eastern Slovakia. Today he lives in the east of country, in Presov Region, where a large Ukrainian diaspora lives. I made this photo in April 2015, in his office on the second floor of the house where he lives with his wife Magda. M. Mushinka holds almost all the time in his office, working on articles, books, and other scientific works. Next year scientist will celebrate 80 years. Despite his age, the scientist is full of strength and energy, it won’t hold the Ukrainian-Ruthenian holidays without him, he is the honorific guest at all cultural and educational events which Ukrainian diaspora conduct. |
