Description
Русский: Зона покоя — плато Укок: Кош-Агачский район, Алтай

После спуска с перевала в долину реки Калгуты, откуда начинается плоскогорье Укок.

Река Калгуты берет начало в горах массива Табын-Богдо-Ола, и через 53 км извилистого пути по плоскогорью Укок впадает в реку Аргут (Ак-Алаха). Вода реки имеет белый, молочный (известковый) цвет. Название происходит от слова «хаалгат» - «ворота». Долина Калгуты считается началом плоскогорья Укок. Вдоль реки на камнях наскальные рисунки различных периодов.
