Русский: Остролистная ива, она же верба — это дерево или кустарник с кроной овальной формы и красной корой. Название было дано растению народом, так же, как другие ее имена: краснотал, шелюга, верболоз.
Верба считается магическим и лекарственным растением, народ использовал ее для защиты от злых духов и для лечения заболеваний. Сегодня верба - символ пробуждающейся природы, начала весны и доброго христианского праздника - Вербного воскресенья.English: platanoides willow. |
