Использовался как учебное пособие в Вологодском ж. д. техникуме, в 2008 г. установлен на площадке музея депо Вологда.
03.2015 — исключён из инвентарного парка ОАО "РЖД".
Прим.: Демонтирован в начале июня 2016 г. и передан в депо Череповец для подготовки под памятник в "Парке Победы". Предполагалось, что военный эшелон, состоящий из паровоза, санитарного вагона, теплушки и открытой платформы, станет самым крупным экспонатом парка Победы. Однако, чтобы установить поезд в музее под открытым небом, требуется порядка 40 млн рублей. Пойти на такие затраты город не готов. Паровоз будет установлен на вокзале Череповца.
