English: Cryobank with samples of malignant tumors
Русский: Коллекцию биологических образцов начали создавать в НИИ онкологии им. Н.Н. Петрова еще в 1998 году. В ней уже собрано более 20 000 биологических образцов. Это культуры первичных и метастатических опухолей – меланомы кожи, рака почки, колоректального рака, саркомы мягких тканей, опухолей других локализаций. Здесь уже хранятся тысячи образцов компонентов крови, а также дендритные клетки – они используются в рамках уникальной, разработанной в институте технологии лечения вакциной, изготовленной из собственных иммунных клеток пациента. Она учит организм видеть опухолевые клетки и бороться с ними.
