Summary[edit]
English: Now you see the inclusion - the so-called representatives of the living world walled up in amber. Flies, scorpions, mosquitoes, pieces of moss and other vegetation millions of years ago lived in the forests of the Eocene era, occupying the territory from northwest Russia to the middle of the Scandinavian peninsula. Here is a sample of amber, in which fifty million years ago a representative of a very distant life was walled up. According to preliminary data, the photograph shows an ancient relative of the housefly (Musca domestica) once captured by a transparent resin.
