Description
Čeština: Model dvouocasého lva, který vytvořil sochař Vincenc Makovský v letech 1964-1966, byl původně určen pro vrchní část tzv. Lví kašny na II. nádvoří Pražského hradu. Objekt z prachatického dioritu byl dokončen v roce 1967, avšak v roce 1986 byl nešťastnou náhodou roztříštěn na více než 40 kusů. Později byl restaurován a osazen na 4 metry vysoký pylon z vahlovické žuly, umístěný u severního vstupu do Pražského hradu. Pomník coby symbol české státnosti slavnostně odhalil 28. října 2009 prezident Václav Klaus.
