Français : Représentation de l'altitude en fonction des étages de végétation.

Étages retenus :

  • planitaire (limite supérieure fixée arbitrairement à 100 m.)
  • collinéen (distinction arbitraire de deux étages : inférieur 100-500 m et supérieur : 500-1050 m)

Remarque : en versant nord, l'étage collinéen a sa limite supérieure vers 900m, en versant sud vers 1200 m, la choix de la limite à 1050 m fait donc la moyenne entre les deux. Les étages planitiaires et collinéens ont des forêts dominées par les chênes. L'étage collinéen supérieur peut présenter des faciès de chênaie-hêtraie, notamment en versant nord.

  • montagnard : étage de la hêtraie-sapinière
  • subalpin : étage de la sapinière et de végétation de pins à crochets
  • alpin : zone sans végétation forestière
  • nival : zone des neiges éternelles
