English: 'Toastrack' cars at Laxey, Manx Electric Railway These cars are popular with the public in fine weather, although they have wooden seats as was common in the Victorian era in which they were built, and open sides. If it rains there are roller shutters that can be pulled down to give shelter. These two examples are seen at Laxey station. |
