The weekly village market of Doraguda, Odisha

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Apart from the usual trade which could be in the form of a pseudo barter, wherein a family that has produced some vegetable in the land owned by them, brings it to sell the produce and with the cash so gained, they buy stuff they need, including sweets& savoury that are freshly cooked at the haat. There is something for every age group. While the women care for thing of beauty, the men folk congregate to get intoxicated on local brews.
