Summary[edit]
Description'Rupert' on the main line (geograph 6539702).jpg |
English: 'Rupert' on the main line at the National Tramway Museum, Crich, Derbyshire, UK. 'Rupert' is one of a pair of Ruston-Hornsby diesel locomotives that ran on the quarry railway that formed the base for the museum and were then purchased by the Tramway Museum Society. Over the years they have proved invaluable for working up and down the line when the overhead current is switched off, particularly during the winter period. |
