Plan showing the sheer lines with inboard detail, and longitudinal half-breadth for Elephant (1786), a 74-gun, Third Rate, two-decker, as built by George Parsons at Bursledon. This plan may be a copy of ZAZ1247, which is stated as being draughted at the Navy Office, and has the erroneous date February 1782. Signed by Robert J Caynes? or Haynes?. |
