Een 14-meter hoge ladder (1993) torent de hemel in. Het is het aan Kamp Amersfoort gewijde monument, gemaakt door de kunstenaar Armando. Het beeldhouwwerk staat nabij Kamp Amersfoort, op de kruising met de Doornseweg en Laan '40. Het geeft een gevoel van vrijheid: je zou erop willen klimmen om de wolken aan te kunnen raken. Armando, geboren als Herman Dirk van Dodeweerd (Amsterdam 1929). |
