Description
English: Print of six men, five in uniform and one in civilian clothes, gathered around a blanket on which one soldier is pouring a substance (presumably coffee or tobacco) out of a bag. The men are surrounded by tree stumps. "Trading for coffee and tobacco Between the fortified lines during a truce." (written below image). "Copy-righted 1876 by E. Forbes." and "PLATE 35." (printed below image).
