Patinated bronze group with brown-green patina representing "The Triumphant Victory" or "The awakening of the genius" by Charles Vital-Cornu. The reliefs are emphasized by a brown-green patina. The sculpture is signed Vital Cornu on the terrace, and carries the foundry mark "Société des bronzes de Paris". Original cartouche with the inscription: Réveil du Génie/Salon des Beaux-arts. Foundry mark: Société des Bronzes de Paris.
