Medium:Fabric, plaster, mirrors, wood Dimensions:16 1/2" Description:"Lalita" doll called "Madhwi." She is an Indian female doll with plaster body dressed in embroidered sari tie dyed red, white, black and blue. She wears bead and chain necklaces and ankle bracelets.

Historical Note:This doll was presented to First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy by Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, President of India, during his state visit to the United States June 4, 1963.
