Summary[edit]
Description"Ferry Steps", South Fambridge - geograph.org.uk - 322738.jpg |
English: "Ferry Steps", South Fambridge A pedestrian ferry service across the Crouch once connected North and South Fambridge. These steps and a few eroded pilings in the hard below are all that remain of it on the south shore. Looking at the tide line denoted by algal growth it's obvious that a mere two metre storm surge will overtop this wall with serious consequences for South Fambridge and much of the Crouch basin. |
