General Plumage: Male, black, white cheek spot and white wing markings.Female, dark brown, paler below, white wing marking,whitish cheek spot. In winter and immature, similar whitehead marking lacking. ^Bill orange and vermilion, baseblack, feet bluish red. Length about 23.00. Song and Other Notes: Ker-ker. Haunts: Ocean and seas.
