Summary[edit]
Description"Codes" Abstract Watercolor Painting by Bruce Black (2020).jpg |
English: "Codes" (18" X 24") Watercolor on paper, painted in 2020 by Bruce Black. This abstract watercolor painting has black marks moving across the page and is reminiscent of old calligraphy marks or numbers in an equation. A spiral sits in the center of the page and three yellow triangles are lined up vertically on the right.
Codes is a mysterious painting with symbols and marks that seem to suggest a deeper spiritual meaning, if only they could be deciphered. Like a long lost manuscript or treasure map, the ultimate meaning has been lost, but the viewer can still appreciate the beauty of the marks and intuit to the deeper ideas held within. Bruce Black (1970-) lives and works in Phoenix Arizona. |
