Considering the variety of articles and the di-versity of colours to be met with in the Saddlery andSaddlers Ironmongery trade, wonder has often beenexpressed that saddlers shops do not present a moreattractive appearance. In this respect they seem, as arule, far behind the age. Of course there are in this, asin every other case, honourable exceptions ; but still itmust be admitted that generally speaking a saddlersshop presents a very dull contrast to either a drapers oreven an ironmongers establishment. Now why shouldit be so ?
