Summary[edit]

Description
English:

Horizontal, black and white postcard showing a photographic view looking east down Manchester Avenue at 7284 Manchester. Street car tracks run down the center of the dirt road, and businesses in one and two-story brick buildings line both sides of the street. Businesses include Maplewood Laundry and T. A. Forrester & Co. Dry Goods. Utility poles also line both sides of the street.

A caption along the lower edge reads: "7284 Manchester Ave., looking East, Maplewood, Mo."

On the back of the postcard, there is a note written in pencil Harry J. [Swain?], Jr., c/o John F. Daly. The note and sender's name are difficult to read. The postcard was postmarked in St. Louis, Missouri on June 6, 1909.
