Português: Poucos leitores domésticos conhecem os livros de Clarice Lispector. Enquanto no Brasil e em muitos outros países suas obras são muito populares. No Brasil, existe até um verdadeiro "culto" a Lispector, cujo rosto é comparado com a imagem de Marlene Dietrich, e seu estilo de escrita com a prosa de Franz Kafka e Virginia Woolf. Seus romances "A City under Siege", "Time of a Star", bem como seus contos são frequentemente reimpressos. O destino da escritora é o enredo de uma cinebiografia emocionante: ela nasceu na Ucrânia (em uma família judia), depois foi parar no Brasil, trabalhou no serviço diplomático, foi tradutora dos detetives de Agatha Christie, foi gravemente ferida durante um incêndio...
