العربية: "الدراعة" هي زي الرجل الموريتاني التقليدي الغالب في بلاد موريتانيا ويُلبس كذلك في بعض الدول المجاورة مثل مالي وسينغال والنيجر وجنوب الجزائر..ويتم تصميم الدراعة من القماش المزركش الفاخر جدا وغالبا يكون من قماش يسمى "ازبي" وهو افخر الأقمشة التي يتم تصميم الدراعة منها...وكذلك يتم تطريز الدراعة تقليديا بما يسمى "اخياطة الايد" وهي تعني التطريز اليدوي المحترف والجميل...ويكون لون التطريز عادة يختلف قليلا عن لون قماش الدراعة وغالبا يكون باللون الذهبي للامع ويغطي الوسط من جهة الصدر مع جيب كبير ..تُلبس الدراعة في المناسبات الإجتماعية والسياسية وفي بعض البروتوكلات الرئاسية الرسمية وكذلك في الأعياد الوطنية والدينية ...وتعتبر الزامية في مناسبات الزواج وحفلاتها...يتم لبس القميص المطرز كذلك اسفل الدراعة ويكون غالبا من نفس قماش الدراعة ونفس التطريز وخاصة من الوسط والاطراف..ويلبس كذلك السروال معهما ويكون من نفس القماش ونفس التطريز في الاطراف ويغطي الارجل الى نصف الساق تقريبا.
