@Yann and Basile Morin: After doing some tests, I eventually made a version with the upper/lower margins increased, and the left side cropped. You can see a low res version at File:Masque DSC 5504 golden section small.jpg. It's not the same, and I prefer the version with more empty space, but you are better judges than me. @Ruthven: A perfect square would be much much better. This kind of presentation makes the difference in simple objects like this. Your margins are great now, the mask breathes, but just instead of a rectangle ratio 1.06x1, try a perfect square 1x1. Keep everything the same, only cut 3% on each sides. Give a try and compare.
