  •  Comment The scope is overly complicated: Of course it's a close-up, how else would you create a useful image of flower buds?. The "beautiful" is something that typically does not belong in a VIC scope at all. On the other hand, it's missing the English name in parantheses. Propose to use the following instead: Butomus umbellatus (flowering rush), flower buds. --El Grafo (talk) 09:51, 21 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment - I really don't see any substantial difference. Maybe this photo is just slightly further on in the process, but not so that the difference is marked. I really don't see differentiating the scopes. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 07:18, 22 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • What I was trying to say: Your counter-proposal shows a bunch of buds, and might indeed be better suited for such a scope. This one shows the whole inflorescence (= arrangement of flowers/flower buds) and is thus suitable to illustrate that it is organized in an en:Umbel. That seems to be an important feature of this species, as it made its way into the scientific name (B. umbellatus). --El Grafo (talk) 07:31, 22 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
