  • Note: I believe was the first model on the drawing no rear window. I used to work on the beetles with the style in the rear window. The style was sometimes removed. And a single rear window was placed.--Famberhorst (talk) 15:35, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Actually there were quite a few different prototypes, for example by Porsche and NSU, in different stages of development and with different rear windows. This specimen is the only remaining one of a small series of 14 cars look here. If you call it "prototype" or "Ur-Käfer" is a matter of definition, but does not really change anything. --Palauenc05 (talk) 16:04, 29 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
