Review
(criteria)
  •  Oppose This one is of much higher technical quality than the other one you mentioned, sadly, the branch blocks much of the bird. --The High Fin Sperm Whale 23:41, 28 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment I agree that the image would be better if we'd see more of the bird and I had nominated it for FP then. But according to the criteria a VI is the best available image of its type on Commons, not the best that can be conceived of. To distinguish the Tawny Eagle from other brown predators it's important to see at least one leg, the eye and the bill which is not the case in any other image. If there is another image you think is more valuable feel free to nominate it. --Ikiwaner (talk) 17:00, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Support Best in scope. This one is also good but it only shows the upper half of the bird. --Quartl (talk) 08:01, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I like that one too but besides a light overexposure it probably falls within another scope (A. r. vindhiana). --Ikiwaner (talk) 10:57, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
