| Reason | The giant oak "Pferdekopfeiche" (Horse-head oak) in the German nature reserve "Ivenacker Eichen" is about 700 years old, has a circumference of almost 9 meters, and is 23 meters high. It is the third-strongest oak in the reserve, and only a third of its crown is still alive. I think the current condition of the diseased but still living tree is well represented in this picture. -- Radomianin (talk) |
