Reason | A not so charming name for a fine plant. This is one of the five common species of the Pedicularis genus found in Greenland, the last four are very rare. I have also uploaded an alternative which better shows the whole plant, but I prefer the nominated image because an old plant from the previous year is shown side-by-side and in focus, which adds to the value in my opinion. The roots should be edible, albeit I have never tried eatng those... -- Slaunger (talk) |
