Reason This ambulance aircraft built in 1944 by the Danish company Skandinavisk Aero Industri (SAI) is the only remaining aircraft of this type (two were built). After a crash in 1977, it was rebuilt to its original wartime configuration as shown. Here it is seen landing after a display flight at Danish Air Show 2014. The Swedish count Folke Bernadotte used this very plane in his negotiations to release prisoners during World War II. -- Slaunger (talk)
