  •  Info The photo shows exactly the mass grave, the burial place of soldiers who died in battle, and not the cenotaph. The rectangular elevation between the monument above grave and the slab with the names is typical for the designation of burials. A monument above the grave and a list of buried soldiers were erected several years after the end of WWII. All photos of this scope shows above grave monuments installed directly at the burial site, the characteristic of rectangular grave elevations are visible in all photos.
