  • Dank u (one of the few Dutch phrases I know). But I think you mean two habitats. How about something like this? "Fomes fomentarius (tinder fungus) growth on a dead tree while it was upright and after it fell"? By the way, I doubt that the country where the fungus is can be seen, so I question whether the category including the country should be linked, but I'd like to hear Archaeodontosaurus' views on that. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 21:56, 3 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment This image is very educational, it illustrates the fact that the fungus grows independently of the direction of the fiber of its host. There are indeed two habits. The location is not indicated directly in the scope, for me there is no major problem. To be honest it's an image that I would have liked to do! --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 06:25, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment Thanks for your reply. I don't think "habits" is the right word in English, though. I suppose the plural of "habitus" is "habiti"? Is that the word you all are looking for, or is it "habitats"? But wouldn't it be clearer to indicate what the habiti/habitats are? Also, shouldn't the scope be a phrase, rather than a sentence? -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:55, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
In fact, if we want to improve the scope, we can speak of an unusual habit for the same mushroom. --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 08:33, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I do not think so --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 06:24, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
At the very least, if we're OK with using a sentence as a scope, isn't the plural of "habit" "habits"? -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 06:52, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
