Thanks for the review. I can assure you that there are pear trees in Denmark. They grow well here. I have the "conference" cultivar. Not the prettiest pear to look at, but the taste!!! Uhm!! Last year it was filled with juicy pears and I ate one every day in September by going out to the tree and pick one after getting home from work. I have also had a large pine tree in the garden, but it is such a dull tree and gave too much shadow for the fruit trees (apple, pear, plums, cherry), and I prefer the latter relative to pine. You still think the ice starts after Belgium? This week we had sun and 25-28 °C most days. --Slaunger (talk) 21:22, 28 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
