Scope Nominated as the most valued image on Commons within the scope:
Bernardin de Saint-Pierre
Used in Global usage
Reason Only this statue of this man in "Commons". Three photos of it. One BW, one bad quality. This one shows the recent renovation. Paul & Virginie above. Was taken in the Jardin des Plantes, BdeSt-P was Director during the french Revolution. So we have both representations of the main activities of this man: author and botanist.  Info This sculpture is in public domaine, sculptor Louis Holweck was born in 1861 and died in 1935. -- Jebulon (talk)

  •  Comment Truly sorry, but I don't think that this statue is worth a scope by itself: "Not every work of art is worth a Valued Image scope. A scope is justified for instance if the work is the most significant work (or one of the most significant works) of an artist having an article on its own on any Wikipedia." By the way, I have completed the categorization of the image.--Myrabella (talk) 23:38, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
