The scope would be Category:Earth and the context where it's the best image is Category:Early Earth in art.--Prototyperspective (talk) 05:36, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
As a work of art, the creator should be in the scope. Charlesjsharp (talk) 07:19, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It is an artistic illustration, an artist's impression with an apparent intention to depict it realistically, and the info on the creator at the source is "NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center Conceptual Image Lab"; more info here. --Prototyperspective (talk) 09:00, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • You can't nominate a file in two scopes simultaneously. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 18:27, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I was leaving it open to people commenting here in which scope it fits better. So I guess the latter one would be better.
(I think it's quite clearly the best surface-level image of early Earth in the Commons and I thought at least one surface-level image of early Earth would be valued in the former scope but I also see how it could be better and/or shouldn't be the only image of that kind in the former scope.) • The nomination will run out of time, although you could subsequently choose to renominate the photo in one scope. But why not choose a scope now? If you want to nominate a photo in two scopes, you need to do so in two separate nominations, not at the same time. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 01:40, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
