  •  Comment This photo's competition is the very different File:PonteSanFrancesco2.JPG, in which the bridge will be much bigger in a thumbnail in an online article, but which gives less of the context. But looking back and forth between them, and considering that neither photo clearly shows the left end of the bridge, I'm thinking that one may be more useful. What do you think? -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:29, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • The two pictures show the two ends the bridge is not bigger. In fact the one in competition is entitled: (Treviso) Canale Cagnan e Ponte San Francesco , it seems to me that it would be a better scope. --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 10:38, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment I'm not sure you understood what I'm saying. The bridge will look much bigger on the page if a thumbnail of the other photo is used in an online article. Do you understand what I mean? And am I misinterpreting your argument to be that we should favor the nominated image because of its title? The title doesn't make an image best in scope.
  • But here's an idea: would you consider changing the scope of this nomination to "Canale Cagnan and Ponte San Francesco, Treviso"? We could consider this one best in that scope and the other one best in the scope for just the bridge. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 23:41, 8 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
